Field Service Technician
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance and repairs for our clients. If you have a strong technical background and enjoy working in the field, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Installation: Install HVAC components like compressors, motors, piping, and ducts.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure systems are safe and efficient, including periodic inspections, cleaning, and adjusting equipment.
- Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and perform repairs.
- Troubleshooting: Check for leaks, recharge refrigerant levels, and ensure the refrigerant cycle is working properly.
- Energy Efficiency: Install smart thermostats or seal ducts to improve energy efficiency.
- Warranty Work: Perform warranty services.
- Documentation: Accurately document installed equipment, including make, model, serial number, and test measurements.
- Communications: Explain issues to customers and clients, and how to use HVAC systems.
- Rotate being on call for emergencies
- Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus
Qualifications:
- A Minimum of one year of on-the-job experience.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Excellent customer communication skills.
- Dedication to being on time and working safely.
